> Performance Space

Performance Space events are run by the Living Dance Studio. The events include a great variety of workshops, whose goal is to explore the expressive and performative language of the body, and to search for new possibilities of creation and collaboration.

The Living Dance Studio has invited many performance artists from China and abroad to hold workshops. Workshop attendees include professional dancers and actors as well as performance lovers from different fields.

Performance Space also invites artists and art festival curators to give lectures introducing Chinese and international contemporary dance and theater performances and festivals; it also features screenings of films of major performances. The purpose is to establish a location for free and open dialogue.
