This is an archival series of books. This chosen subject relates to contemporary arts, literature, cinema, theater, performance, etc. The basic documents are texts of works, artists records, interviews, and dialogues, so that the reader is laid a clear path to come closer to those “visual” arts, or ''alternative” people.

Aim
In regard to the lack of the book or the magazine about contemporary Chinese experimental and avant-garde arts (painting, installation, performance art and video art) and experimental or avant-garde theatre, dance, film, whom most of them are been''underground'', I plan to edit and publish this series of books titled ''DOCUMENT'' which collect pictures and articles in a way of ''File'', in an effort to create a text of the document and record of contemporary Chinese experimental and alternative arts.

I want to work on this book by means of documentary. The aim is to make a kind of document or file on Chinese contemporary art. I believe both the artists and their works in this particular period should be kept as a part of contemporary art and art history, because there are a lot of experimental and marginal works of great value. For the book series, I hope it will be published in English edition. This is a very innovative work and nobody has ever done that before in China . It's a big help If the Prince Claus Fund this project. Also, the world will see the latest art development in China from a brand new viewpoint.

Consisting of photos, written introduction of a certain incident and the
introduction and interview of the photographer.
